Nestor Epiliki is the President and Co-founder of the Epiliki foundation. He was born in Kumba, Cameroon. He has been a business professional for the past eight years and obtained his Bsc(Hons) in Accounting from the University of Buea in 2006, in 2011 he obtained his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting and Finance from the New Mexico Highands university, USA where he served as a graduate senate member. He does possess a strong academic background, and a great passion for solving practical problems, which can be seen in his desire for creating a non-profit organization to solve the problem of underprivileged kids not having access to quality education in his local community back in Cameroon, Africa. Coming from that same community from a family that made not more than 100 dollars a month but struggled through economic hardship to offer him basic education, made him passionate in solving practical problems like the one faced by underprivileged kids in my local community where he came from. He is currently a doctoral candidate for the Doctor in Business Administration program at Walden University. The opportunity to achieve a Doctor in Business Administration (with a concentration in Management information system) at Walden University will increase his business intelligence through applied research which will enable him to open doors and expand the scope of the Epiliki Foundation. This will help underprivileged kids in the local community in Cameroon to have access to quality education and also to live a healthy life. Nestor likes dancing, carrying out research, he likes to read and love travelling.
Elizabeth Fortanyi is the Vice President and Co-founder of the Epiliki foundation. Ten years ago she had a dream as a primary school teacher to build hope through education in her community where there was little or no schools and where most parents found it difficult to educate their kids due to lack of resources and availability of schools. She decided to start a Nursery and Primary school which she named Mount Sinai Primary and Nursery school Mabondji to help underprivileged kids in her community to have access to quality education, she accepted kids whose parents couldn’t afford to pay for school, she also provided shelter and cater for few of her pupils who needed her help (Orphans). It has been a difficult drive through the years but her desire to develop her community through educating the underprivileged kept her vision going. Epiliki Foundation was founded to support her vision of educating, providing shelter and assistants to schools in our local community. Many call her in her community “Iron Lady” because of her commitment to hard work and fight to make her community a better place.
